PF Contribution Of Employer & Employee

Hello Everyone,
I the company in which I am working deduct PF from my salary,which is my contribution. When asked for their contribution they told that, the same (employer contribution) will be again deducted from my salary.
So ultimately I am levying for their contribution.
The company I work for is a limited company.
Is this the condition with all or most of us.?
What actions can be taken so that the employer pays their contribution. more

Generally in Private Companies CTC is derived taking PF contribution of both employee and employer. If it is so, it is in order. more

Ans1 - First check your CTC and then your salary slip. Your contribution shall be 12% of basic + DA and the same from employers pocke reflecting in the salary slip if it is mentioned in CTC Write a mail to your company EPF dept and get their reply. If they answer your queries fine. You can still go in depth if you do not get convincing replies. Ans2 - yes Ans3 - you have to calculate from your basic pay + DA based on 12% your contribution and 12% theirs. more  
Mr.Amit Naokar, reply to your queries are as follows: 1) Usually employers contribution may not be reflected in the salary slips. 2) employee & employer deductions compulsory in the passbook. For knowing the passbook, everybody has to activate their UAN number and verify with registered mobile by OTP recd from PF website. 3) Based on CTC, they employer mention PF amount including employer share or only employee share. So when you see your payslip then only you may know how much pf deducted from your salary and same amount deducted towards Employer share and paid to dept. In case of CTC - the annual PF contribution from employer side is taken away first and the balance is divided into 12 monthly instalments of salary. So they might not put that figure. You will find that even your LTC (leave travel allowance) is typically part of CTC is taken out before the balance is divided into 12 salary installments and they too do not figure in your salary slip. So it is accepted practise to have only the remaining as part of monthly salary. So Net-Net- Monthly Gross Salary + Employer PF contribution + LTC component if any will add upto CTC more
