PF not transferred to correct EPFO circle.
Hi, My earlier employer claims that they have transferred my PF to current employer. But current employer says it transfer was made to wrong office, so they don't have money. Instead of PY/KRP its transferred to PY/PNY.
Now my earlier PF balance is 0 and the account were it was transferred says invalid. I was not given the annexure-K , but earlier employer gave me the UTR number with which amount was credited to account with wrong office code .
Except office code, everything else is correct. But still my current employer(own PF trust) is not willing to help me.
I can't even check balance of that transfer.Please help me to I get my PF amount back. more

I had the UAN number associated with earlier employer. It shows money was transferred and final balance was made to 0. Even though my current employer have now linked with UAN after transfer. Since current employer linked UAN after transfer, so nothing is mentioned about the transfer in UAN portal now. more

Please note you can file a RTI(Right To Information) seeking details of information about account transfer, Mean time continue to follow-up with pf grievance cell and your pf office. I understand the hardship in spending time on these errands, besides your work and family responsibilities. But this is India. Many people including me have very painful experience like yours with PF department. I don't know how govt wants drive these kind of departments. (Rather govt thinking of taxing, investing employee's life time savings). It is not negative thoughts I want to put you in sad mood, but the facts. I believe you will get your job done, may take time. more

suggesting by above members is correct, if you have UAN number it is easy to check corrctness of the office where it is been deposited, amount available as on date etc., as every year/month you will receive your PF montly statement wherein all details have been mentioned, or approach the jurisdictional pf office to sortout the issue, but it is little time consuming but no alternative!!! more

It appears you PF was transferred to a wrong account. Under these circumstances write to PF Commissioner where it was transferred wrongly, to send it back to your previous PF account, once it is done, again submit application for transfer to the new account giving the details such as your name in full, father's name in full, previous account no and present PF account. though it takes some time, but will be transferred to your new account once you take up the matter to the concerned PF commissioner where it was transferred wrongly under intimation to the previous PF commissioner. more
