PF Pension Stopped for want of bio-metric
Dear readers, could anyone of you please guide me about the documents to be taken for ppf bio-metric verification? Like Aadhaar card, Bank Passbook, ppf account number issued by the bank, your registered mobile no. with ppf, (required for (OTP)) etc?
The second point to note is that the bio-metric verification is done by UIDAI. That means the scanned iris and fingerprints are verified by UIDAI. Then why this Verification at the PF office or Mobile Operators? Is it not duplication of work? When Aadhaar is unique why bio-metric verification for everything? just load in Aadhaar and verify. the job is over. Similarly the mobile service providers verify our finger prints with UIDAI? The Government seems to be confused as far as verification is concerned. The authorities have not understood the uniqueness of Aadhaar and Mr. Nilekeni does know how to explain it to the authorities.
The third point to note is that on the UIDAI site they have posted a Message - "No services can be denied for want of Aadhaar". but as you can see in my case, I am denied of my pension in spite of my having Aadhaar and having submitted to PF office, Bank, Food and Civil supplies and other Government bodies. Can some one guide me through this vine of confusion? more
