PICNIC / RAIL TOP TRAVEL IN TRAINS :

There are several issues in the railways to be sorted out before it is made better.
One such that involves the safety of passengers who travel by trains in Indian railways. This is not the first such Mr. Minister several such have occurred before you took over the reins. Those were the days under the other Rail ministers such nonsense was permitted to get political mileage. In one such several youth who went for an interview were crushed to death . Thank goodness nothing happened this time . Do you think it behoves of Indian Railways to allow such .Particularly when the Minister and thousands of rail workers , lakhs of Circle members and millions of Rail passengers are all working together to make Railways better.

* What was the station master and the R.P.F .heads were doing when the passengers climbed on ? Doesn't the railways have the responsibility to protect rail property the rules ?

IF IT IS A SMALL STATION ALWAYS HELP COULD HAVE BEEN SOUGHT HELP FROM THE DISTRICT SUPERINTENDENT. OR DID THEY THINK THAT THIS IS A NORMAL AFFAIR IN THE INDIAN RAILWAYS.

* There is a lot of talk about Railways not making ends meet and as a result ticket fare hike in many ways as we have seen these 3 years.

HOW MANY HAVE BOUGHT TICKET AND TRAVELED IN THAT PARTICULAR TRAIN. THESE ARE THE LOOP HOLES THAT TO BE FILLED TO TAKE RAILWAYS OUT OF RED.

* Next is the safety concern : Earlier several had died , this time they were ferried safely though we are not sure whether they were legitimate travelers or not .

This is where the Railways have to take the responsibility and be alert to take care of the safety of all hauled by the Indian railways ; not pass on to the insurance companies.

SAFETY CONCERN IS A MUST OF THE RAILWAYS TOWARDS THE PASSENGERS TRAVELING .

Hope railways will turn the attention towards the safety of the passengers . If the passengers are illegitimate don't allow them to travel.

IF THE PROBLEM IS FROM RAILWAYS WHAT DO YOU DO ?

I appreciate your views in the stated matter. I noticed that a Railway Station and Trains passing through it were under total commotion during any Railway board test. The examinees get into a reserved compartment without valid approval causing terrible inconveniences to the valid traveler/ ticket hoders . Actually, controller of such test should also indicate valid Train no & seat no for each examinee. On Wed, May 24, 2017 at 6:16 AM, Jayakumar Daniel < support@localcirclesmail.com> wrote: > more

Its too late, all these circles were perhaps started with a good purpose but have failed. The corrupt have the power, and resources, sloth, inefficiency, lack of accountability, have made most government offices, places to accomodate vote banks.God save this country. Mr.Daniel,we wish you the best. more
The present ministry had raised lot of hope in public minds in the initial stage of taking over but as time passed, he proved to be of no difference excepting diversion of his full attention towards conversion of the railways into a money minting machine by inflicting more & more charges and taxes on the passengers. In the process he apparently become complacent and begun to compare the Indian Railways with the airlines prompting him to introduce the flexi-fare system, which ultimately proved to be a failure. Its a fact that safety of passengers in indian rails is at the lowest ebb as it stands as on date. However, whenever there is a discussion or argument on the subject matter, it revolves around the passengers travelling in reserved compartments either in AC classes or in Sleeper class. But in the event of an accident of a train, have any one of us ever had any statistics of loss of lives of passengers travelling in ordinary second class cattle like though not less than 99% of them are legitimate passengers holding valid travel tickets purchased from the running booking counters? At least I have never heard or read any news about these ill fated poor people. As Mr. Jayakumar rightly pointed, out observing people climbing to roof tops of trains as silent spectators endangering their lives and the railways safety in danger is nothing but an unbecoming way of getting political mileage and there should be all round criticism of such ill fated & ill intended politics. more
