Pigs in our area
I am staying in sector 45 this area is full of PIGS can someone help to keep the area free of PIGs ?? more

Yes, Sri Ravi Menon Saheb, one + all must have the faith and the tenacity to wring-in the Change. And NOT "perhaps" but always through such fora; with the hope that they, LocalCircles will continue to flourish and provide feedback + participative guidance to the new leadership to run/manage the good cum honest governance, we deserve. We must, all of us take our neighbours to exercise our VOTE. Change comes forth better, as depicted by all TV channels, when the Parliamentary elections took place, last May; India & the world were left agog as the results tumbled out! Followed by the unbelievable shake-up in the USA -- at the UNGA and newly christened MOdison (Madison) Square, also with the Senators and House Representatives & President Obama, himself, providing genuine support, in our hour of need & the future. Well said Mr Chopra, we pray from the black spot arises the answer to the Great White Hope. We citizens who are not referred to for any of the above mentioned decisions in town planning, need to make our voices heard, perhaps thro such forums more

Sri Ravi Menon saheb & Friends All, You Sir, you said it all. i'm afraid, no one is "minding the store", so to say. Will the proposition of 100 Smart Cities go the same way? The so-called 5-star builders with the connivance of the State's Directorates of Town & Country Planning & a handful of other subservient Departments go the route of what the principal Builders have decided, already. The said builders see life in relation to "their children studying overseas, clubbing & Golf Course + 5-star hoteliering, 8-16 laned roadways, etc." they did not have to convince the State, since many of them too do not go for pavements, cycle tracks or rickshaws. Their life swings around the rates for the $ or the EURO...it is that simple. And the word-- CUTS...if you know what that means! PRAY as i do now, every day, that a set of new masters who ascend the throne in Chandigarh/Panchkula after the 19 th Oct. will start listening to us all and NAMO, who means business. Much will depend on what and how we get our forefingers' nail get "christened" with indelible black-spot! The SOLUTION lies in that--- the pigs of all kinds and the roaming ones can thus be got rid of, i share under bated breath. Regards & Peace-- dev chopra more

DLF 5 has become a mess, no open spaces for public, no pavements or cycle paths, commercial centres, clubs, schools all stuffed into a small area already full of residential projects, no parks, not even a simple market place. The golf club in the neighbourhood is for super hifi only. Golf links road which was a nice road is now a mess and soon to become a highway right in the middle of a residential neighbourhood. No public transportation worth the mention, chaotic traffic. And to top it we have the open sewages and pigs to roam freely. Hopefully there can be a citizens movement to try and correct these issues. more
