1. The places of worship generally found so dirty and filthy except the STATE Kerala. 2. The temples are maintained well in Kerala. To reach to the base of the Temples in India, first, we should clean such people and then proceed to a new era of keeping up our old traditions and ethics. 19. Well Mr Khan, it is right that one set of human beings are adapted to cleaner and better living standards because religion enforces such behaviour; Be it in temple or mosques, the insides are maintained clean and healthy; but the surroundings are the main point of concern, that too when the gathering is huge as during celebration of festivities; then after the festivities are over, the whole place is in a mess and it remains like that, till the garbage gets buried under the soil, on its own; more sponsors and volunteers should come forward to support the management of festivities - before commencement of the festivities, during the festivities and after the conclusion, of the festivities. the religious towns came up at a time, when our population was low; the area cannot be expanded to accommodate the growing population/visitors to the religious places; this is one major factor for deteriorating environs; the flow of visitors should be regulated to ensure that the visitors do not create nuisance beyond control; The civic authorities are at a loss to provide a clean environment, for the simple reason is that, most of us are only concerned about our needs and exigencies and do not bother about civility or civic responsibilities; Many are not organized and as such no law can prevent them from crossing the limits; The washroom or place to relieve oneself should be easily accessible and available at vintage points; garbage should be picked up continuously and place to be cleaned continuously rather than on specific occasions; though the local bodies are provided with funds for the festivities the money is not being used for the purpose, for which it is collected and allocated; more
