Placing employees in home district

Employees in private sector as well as government sector should be placed in their home district and should not be transferred outside the home district because of following reasons:
1. When a person has family support, he/she can concentrate on his/her job better and work more efficiently as many household tasks are divided among the family members and a single person does not have to do all household tasks. Moreover the emotional support of family keeps him/her happy and helps in better dealing with job related problems.
2. A person is more likely to treat people (clients/customers/general public) well in his/her home district as some of them are already known to him/her and moreover his/her behaviour can impact his/her own image as well as that of his/her family. So the chances of corruption will be very less. A big reason of corruption is transfer or placement of employees outside the home district where they become frustrated in the absence of family support as well as become shameless and fearless in harassing people and asking for bribes from people they do not know and with whom they have to deal with for a few years only till the next transfer.
3. A person working under constant fear of being transferred to a location inconvenient for him/her can not perform his/her duties efficiently and fearlessly. more
