Planning Commission and Niti Ayog - same old
Planning Commission was one of the most useless bodies in India which was a hangout for intellectuals in UPA Govt (Montek Ahluwalia, Sam Pitroda, Arun Maira) They formed committee after committee and spoke at conferences and made roadmaps and hired a boat load of young people to feel good. Nothing came out.
PM Modi replaced Planning Commission with Niti Aayog but it seems to be turning out as useless as the Planning Commission. 4 years have gone and nothing has come out of this body other than big scheme announcements, launches, plans. Where are the deliverables? Only see attached meetings before and after
Why is Amitabh Kant CEO not taking public feedback, he knows all. Arvind Panagarhia seems to have resigned and been replaced. They had no play in Demonetisation or GST, Benefits Transfer or Aadhaar.
Why not shut this aayog down and show Minimum Govt Maximum Governance in the last year atleast.
