Plastic bottles in future to be made of Sugar

See attached a new innovation where plastic bottles in future will be made of sugar.

We need such innovations in India so we have less non bio degradable and more bio degradeable waste. more

As the demand for sugar will grow for plastic manufacturing, more and more forests will be destroyed for cultivation. Every new sustainable invention has a downside which is equally bad. Reducing & Reusing are the only real alternatives. For plastic the only real challenge is proper collection and reproducing from used plastic vis a vis virgin plastic. If we can control that, we have won the game. We need more ideas around that. more
