Rent agreement period of 11 months is over in one case . Landlord already told tenant to vacate the premises after agreement period as he needs his premises for his own use .
But, since last few months tenant repeatedly postponing his removal from premises .

My case is similar to Mahen Patle's. The tenant went to court with a cooked up story of the 11 month agreement just a formality whereas sale was discussed. The case has been ongoing for 14 years now. For 3 years the case papers were misplaced/supressed. Then a Judge in first hearing gave an Order favoring the tenant: till final disposal of case both parties need to maintain status quo. Finished. I never got benefit and tenant has not been paying rent through court also. What to do this is judiciary - a sad state of affair of Gujarat Court. more

Landlord may take following steps: 1. Serve a legal notice to vacate the premises and for breach of Agreement Conditions mutually agreed. 2. Lodge a police complaint. 3. Approach court. more
