Our environmental behaviour is like politics, what ever goes wrong , put it on other side. Stubble burning, desert strom, vehicular emission, Aravali Mining, Stone crushers are a few among a long list of miscreants and ofcourse the meteorological behaviuor plays the role. The solution is self consciousness decesion on do's and dont's on all of above. Same time moivate others to plant a tree on each of their birthdays. Gift a sapling on each occassion..... Take a Singapore like decesion.... no more vehicles for next 5 years.... The situation is such like either we do it today or the city will be a "City of silence - one worst morning" of human history. more
So true. We live in One Village, One Block, One tehsil, One District, One town/city, One State..... It all begins with One. And that One is ME not YOU!! Each One has to chip in to do one's best to improve situation. Moreover, once the citizens become One, no politician can ever take us for a sweet ride!! more
They r busy solving their own administration problems. They can do when they r free from that. Who bothers for people unless they wake up nd shake up. more
We are living in one world and its more true for environment. Its impossible to create a standalone environment insulated from outside effect. We can neither neglect the pollution created by Delhi through its vehicles nor can we neglect visible soot hanging in the air during winter months of Punjab/Haryana stubble burning. If the PM 2.5 of Anand Vihar was 707, during winter months who knows it might crossed 1000 due to stubble burning effect. So action is required on both fronts and Delhi Government can take initiative even for stubble burning in coordination with the Punjab Government. more

I don’t understand why the agricultural ministry in Punjab and Haryana can not buy the machines required to remove the stubs and lease them to the farmers as per their needs.
