Points to Ponder by the Media
Not only that a very high level of integrity is demanded from each media personnel, but also a very high level of impersonal & investigative approach to the issues/ subject in hand. There is a lot of plagiarism, imitation, copy paste, repetitions happening in all channels, news papers etc. Opinions of one merge/ overlap those of others. Result - The gullible public takes the emerging information as true. Alas there is no way left to public but to believe the half truth or even a lie passing of as truth!!
When Kejriwal makes a sweeping statement media should stand alert & see within their systems. For no agency - not even A govt - needs to be as honest to public as media. For innocent readers become the victims of mis information, purchased news ,hurriedly made analysis etc . It is a crime against humanity- to change mindsets - with vested intentions or inefficiency.
So let the media understand this fully well - the onus of being dishonest or partial is corruption of a worst kind. Beware of this moral lapse & mend ways.
