Pokemon Go and Citizen Safety - Issues

1. A number of players emerge from virtual to real environment and meet outside to make it a group activity
2. Pokemon Go players need to go to busy roads to play the game
3. Many accidents have already occurred when a driver has been playing Pokemon Go
4. People have also met with accidents while walking and playing this game
5. Players walk into unknown/dangerous neighbourhoods trying to catch Pokemon
6. The game is designed in such a way that it shares your GPS location with others making players susceptible to crime
7. Players when absorbed in this game may become vulnerable for thefts
8. The player’s behaviour while playing creates doubts in the minds of the onlookers and incidents of them being reported as suspicious persons with the police have come up
9. Due to such games, the players' psychology is prone to aggression, anxiety, lack of patience and living in an unreal world. more

I wish this game has automatic warning of all these things. more
WE SHOULD ALERT OUR CHILDREN REGARDING MINDSET OF POKEMEN. more
Before it becomes a national issue, the government should simply ban the apps/game in India. There is no point in allowing such things which are prone to accident, breaking of peace and law & order, interference to others privacy and poke into national security. more
better still change the mindset of Pokemon and make him an ideal citizen which would encourage the children to emulate him. This being a popular character can influence everyone . more
agree with the views of shri radhakrishnan nair. as it is dangerous for children moving directionless and prone to safety concern more
