Police and Corruption Hand in Hand
Smooth Registration of FIR may be one of the benchmark of Police efficiency but many may not be aware that this is the starting point of hard negotiation between interested parties. Every FIR ends with Final Report / Police Report which is a known fact but many may not be aware that these Police Reports are seasoned tools to make or break some one’s life. These Police Reports can make any one criminal or otherwise at the whims of Investigating Officer. Its herculean task for a commoner to fight for his dignity and prove the Police Report wrong.
In present atmosphere for criminals; Police Stations are second home but for commoner its not less than nightmare. Our joint efforts to find solution may break the nexus between Police & Criminals.
What would be the methods to make police officers accountable for their Police Reports? What would make them duty bound to act on FIR on time bound & impartial basis? How to ensure that the complainant is updated on the status of his/her complaint? more

Its because of Police the Indian society progress peacefully. The reason of curruption should be properly investigated for a solution. We should not give responisibility to police only. A feedback form for every case may help fo analyse the problem. more

Time bound guideline for police and court is must. If any case lodged by police is found wrong then action against police is required. This procedures and laws were made during british ruler for their comfort. Today there is need for change in laws in view of rights of the citizen. more
