Police doing drugs peddling

I would like your views on policing in India. For me India is a failed state even worst than Pakistan. Every day there's rape happening. From police to politician everyone is corrupt. Even people defend rapist (there was rally to defend Kathua rapist by public).
Common people is forced to chant 'India is great' else we're called anti-nationals.
It's time to defunct the police. Why to spend taxpayers money on looters (Police)? They barely
take cognizance of complaints, forget about FIR. They're literally incompetent. Don't believe me, go to your nearest cyber cell police. They don't understand anything. You can always judge level of their competency by encounter incidents in which handcuffed criminals snatch pistol from policemen which ends up policemen killing criminals. more

Police should have periodical up-gradation/ verification of physical , mental/education and rule position standards. Periodical tests for physical and mental abilities required. those who are not up to mark may be shifted to routine jobs in other departments. more

This is absolutely correct. I concur with the author. It's high time, we must disband police force. They're highly incompetent. Also, I see many sarkari babus defending corrupt policemen. You guys need to accept the reality. Nobody is supreme over CONSTITUTION. Police should be our SERVANT that's why they're called civil servants but nowadays they act like dictator. And Bhakta(s) please get rid of slave mentality. We need revolution this time. more

India is divided by caste,creed,religion&politics.The govt. machinery is the worst performer. Good intentions , act donor percolate to the bottom/public.Police are at the top in this regard. Where education,police,judiciary aren't functioning fairly there cannot be a welfare state. more

Shame to Mr. Shekar Naresh. It is seen he is proud ('Bhakta') of Grossly corrupt administration. I prey to the Almighty that he (and/or his family/nearest/dearest one) becomes victim of one or more of such corrupt instruments, so that he understands this grossly carcinogenic national problem - although in a hard/tough manner. He would be asked to leave this country if he protests or raise any complaint. Anti-national mindset of Shri Shekar Naresh and like-minds are hereby high-lighted, since he ( and people of like mindset) has got no respect towards any provision of the CONSTITUTION OF INDIA. There is no provision in the said sanctum sanctorum document, by which a citizen of India can be asked to leave this country, because of his raising concerns to all pervasive problems. more
