Police reform on carrying physical license

The local police says attached. I.e even if some one keeps their license in a digital locker of govt of india and presents and authorised digital copy they will not accept it and unless a physical license is presented they have the right to impound our vehicle.

This is a backward law, the police needs to come to terms to new age of digital and the home ministry must reform the laws.

What has been people experience. What are your opinions? more

In present day system of governance, many procedures have under gone changes but, not the mentality of many in position of authority. It is more so when a person is in uniform. In their views every citizen before them is untrustworthy unless he proves himself otherwise. more
Self certified/attested photocopies are accepted for almost all government purposes. Driving license should be similarly treated. digilocker should be acceptable. Notorious people will exploit this facility.
Digi Locker system be encouraged. more

There's still slavery in our blood. We need revolution to dismantle bureaucracy. We need decentralisation. more
