Police Verification Process
Last week after the dps greater noida incident where swimming teacher was arrested for rape of a girl, administration seems to be saying school did not get police verification done.
Do they now know police verification does not work for most is tedious time consuming and corrupt process?
Noida administration and police need to implement an online hassle free process for verification of domestic help, staff so everyone can get it done. Question is will they act to make the process better or just pass the buck?
Also, i request local circle to conduct discussion on it at country level as a local body can only do so much and may have to rely on other authorities based on home town of staff? more

I think Police can design a system based on AADHAR number for such services and persons or service providers can register themselves with Police station so that Police can immediately provide the verification in case the person is registered with them. more

AADHAR IS NO GUARANTEE THAT HOLDER IS HONEST OR HAS PREVIOUS POLICE RECORD ETC. eVEN THE CRIMNALS HAVE Aadhaar number. more

For fair police, verification, Circle should bring this issue in the notice of the P.M. Modi & the C.M. Yogi that there is corruption everywhere, Where police and administration are involved. Corruption can’t be stopped until an autonomous official, like Lokayukta, is not appointed in the country, where complainant can complaint about corruption and any injustice and get redressal. more

It may please be remembered that more power with out any accountability means more corruption. Police should not be allowed to interfear in legal activities of the citizens. if any power is given to them there should be absolute accountability. more

Dear Niharika Ji Are we to believe that the Noida Police is so incompetent that they have no intelligence to nab such institutions who are running such a prominent place withot police verification? This is ridiculous indeed. Must lodge a PIL against these scums the bribe takers. Whatâs the use of mandatory check if police doesnât share information. I live in Australia and the police is supposed to issue a letter or a laminated card confirming Police check verified status. While it is mandatory but I wonder if Police would share their finding with the applicant. Would the Police stand in the court to confirm its finding in any case where situation could demand. I think Police verification should not be made mandatory for tenants or domestic help. Instead the landlord or the employers should in their own interest collect from the tenant or the employee verifiable information on a few points that may include Aadhaar card, voters ID etc. Police may issue points on which information be collected. In case the landlord or the employer feels a necessity for Police verification. it may be done in time bound manner against a few and on line to avoid any harassment or corruption. If any time a situation demand landlord or the employer to lodge a complaint against the tenant or the employee he should be free to quote the police report. more
