Political loan waivers.
Loan waiver per se is bad and present day mass waivers is very harmful for economy. Today a farmer who takes a loan he knows pretty well that he need not refund and in next election it will be waived. The way to help farmers is to ensure that he gets fair price. One can observer two commodities i.e. onions and tomatos. While farmer gets a rupee or two the end consumer pays 30 to 40 times price farmer receives. The difference going to middleman/traders which should be tackled. Time has come for citizen not to raise their hands; but their fists against politicians. more

The elected representatives have understood the electorate very well. So instead of wasting their time in development, they just throw a few crumbs like loan waiver etc on the common man and then get the votes. The foolish people do not know that by giving loan waivers they end up paying more taxes. more

Better for the people writing in these columns go and vote. Because you people do not go and vote we are forced to have such corrupt illiterate, fit for nothing elected representatives. Mr.Shivaraj Singh Chauhan has done so much of good work in M.P but still he has been unceremoniously thrown out. more

It is high time pressure must be brought on Govts not to let loose the loan waiver announcements. We need to blame the voters also for this situation. They are sold out for the doles offered by political goons and again elect the corrupt elements and later weep. What use? Some voter education is needed. more

A genuine farmer doers not need a loan waiver. It is only the gamblers, drunkards, womanizers who take loans for this purpose under the garb of farmers need loan waivers. more

Farmers are a vote bank and city middle class - CMC - has no guts to project CMC as a vote bank. Govt must waive housing loans, vehical loans and education loans of CMC more
