POLLUTION CONTROL / ODD / EVEN
All the Concerned.
Dear Sir,
By just squeezing one section of society who use cars and applying Odd / Even rule on them will not help, in the absence of Alternate infrastructure.
Why the big Commercial diesel vehicles are allowed in the city, and why not transfer all the goods in CNG Fitted Mini vans/ Trucks only.
Hon. Delhi CM is thinking only in one direction. He has to adopt a rational policy.
Once in a while Odd / Even policy is ok, but not a permanent solution.
You are imitating / copying foreign countries but not looking at the alternative infrastructure those countries have made.
As i had written in my earlier posts there is no ONE POINT AGENCY WHERE ONE CAN COMPLAIN OF POLLUTION CAUSING EVENTS.
Day before yesterday i saw NHAI carrying out cleanliness drive with JCB machines on NH-8, AND thereafter Burning all the collected Garbage.
Who should be held responsible for this, who would take action against government agencies.
First sensitise / educate your own departments.
I IMMEDIATELY CALLED FIRE BRIGADE and the local police AFTER REACHING THE SPOT was in touch with me, asking all MY DETAILS.
I suggested the officers to concentrate on the agency who committed the fault by breaking the rather than concentrating on me.
These things go unnoticed and people also do not bother in spite of the judgement by Green Tribunal.
This all is happening due to lack of SINGLE AGENCY / NUMBER Where complaints can be lodged and these kind of incidents are prevented. No publicity campaign is being done in this regard.
I keep on reporting Garbage burning incidents as these cause the most harmful effects on living beings as these include plastics and other chemicals. Sometimes the Fire brigade people say that :
KOODA HI TO HAI, TO KYA KAREN.
Actually the staff is not aware of the ill effects of pollution , and the law pertaining to it.
MAY SOMEONE TAKE NOTE OF THIS.
