Pollution is due to many factors like Crop burning, automobile emission etc. But now Diwali crackers added to it and made worse air condition. more

If there is scientific evidence for that, the same must be considered. As far as I know CPCB does monitor for Delhi. But Gurgaon is not included in their programme. So to say that the Gurgaon air was polluted due to crackers is simply a conjecture. more

Dear Residents , it is not a discussion issue or a problem which can be sorted only by paris convention. we are in a emergency state now because multiple factors are making our city a "Gas Chamber" . burning crop's residue nearby , excessive vehicles on road ( both yellow and white plated) , dust particles , hazardous chemicals emitting gases silently ... Just look around cases of respiratory problems , fever , depression , road rages and you will realize that what we breathing is poison and can't expect good results. Selling Air purifiers and masks and writing social media post will not uproot the problem. let's find out root cause and restrict all those activities which causes bad air quality. Why are we not asking government to monitor live Air Quality and issue Air Advisory , Why are we not asking large corporates to tell the world what they are doing to reduce number of cars ( SOV) pushed into system every day ? Why are we not making Public Transport system fully automated so that every citizen know when and where his bus is coming ? Why are we not charging Congestion tax , heavy parking fees etc to discourage use of Single Occupied Vehicles . Its time to take action and raise voice loud and clear to solve problem created by us only. Traffic police can control traffic but can't control Air Quality . multi level parking can accomodate growing number of cars but can't control pollution and traffic mess... choice is ours discussion or action ... if every one loves his city than city problem will leave soon... I have decided to use public transport , no crackers , am doing carpool for my kids with 5 others ... let's pledge and change us instead of expecting society to change overnight more

Pollution does restrict it's definition to only one source or act. Any act or source generating hazards for mankind (which is supposed to remain alive to keep the world existance) is considered pollution. As such, scattered garbage disposal, dust eminating from loose soil accumulated on broken roads, cutting or diminishing trees/plants /grass along road side which are supposed to work as filters, smokes eminating from unpresidrnted growth & poor maintenance /old technologies etc. that of automobile sectors, laxaticity of approach from industrialists on their waste disposal system and after all our own mentality to dispose our garbage to others zone also contribute significantly. Accordingly, slaughtering of birds/animals etc. in public places do come under these category as fast & easy cleaning would never be convenient and such accumulation would lead promotion for emergence of hazardous germs. Even partial control on such disposal & achieving 50% success would be a great achievement for mankind. Animal sacrifice aspect would be a matter of debate on unfavourable lines as the tradition reported emerging from the sacrifice of dear one (not animal) for the betterment of mankind, so it would be better to refrain from entering such deliberations. more
