Pond for every city. village

Every city or village has to have a pond which is constructed by shram dhan by the residents of the city and with city administrative authorities. Rain harvesting facility is to be connected from all over the city to the pond.

This increases the water level of the city, ensures the clear drinking water, also creates a place for leisurely time spending on the summer days and water sports can also be developed on the same. more

I, the nr. to Sr. Citizen of India appreciate and thanks to PM for important steps for entrepreneurs & innovation. Now I am only worried how it will reach to real user. For this I really feel that before awarding the entraprenuer to candidate it should be verified by proper channel with urgency. Thanks. more  
People are the breakers of the rules and laws as are also evident from the Tanks, Ponds , Streams and Drain lands that are under grabbing and still the Governments could not do any thing since it is again the issue of Politicians please . more  
Mr. Anil Mathur, it is because of the people's participation, affection and care of the people is required for any project, city to continue. otherwise, government creates and the people do not mind throwing garbage, debry and other things in to the pond. soon it will turn into a stinkng pond and people would like once again to close the pond and use it for other purposes. once you take the pain to create it, it is very hard to destroy or misuse the same. The labour and time spent on creating something will always create a sense of achievement, affection, botheration, brotherlyhood, togetherness. otherwise, we will only end up scolding each other and the time flies off and we are left with the same problem year after year. more  
Why shram Dan by citizen. Where crores of NREGA money collected from our salary tax (already shram done) will go? It's high time people of India should raise voice against this sleeping buerocracy elephant . more

In the first place , Every Municipality shall takeover Grabbed Tank/Pond Areas , and their stream areas routing the Rain waters . And , all the Ponds/Tanks shall be guarded/ Fenced for protecting other inflows . 2. Every Municipal administration and Village administration shall create new Ponds / Tanks for preserving and collecting Rain Waters for clean water purposes and to preserve Earthen Strength . 3. Every Municipal admn. shall make compulsory the water harvesting pits within each Residential House and Apartment imposing penalty clause since many Towns and Cities under UDA also neglected this provision . 4. Further , all the Ponds and Tanks , Reservoirs shall be bounded by Trees to strengthen their Bunds and , to prevail the requisite Oxygen supply . more
