Positive Changes at Railways Reported by Citizens in last 6 months
1. The cleanliness levels at the platforms has increased
2. The train bogies have also become cleaner
3. Stickers have been put in trains regarding cleanliness in compartment. Now one can sms for a cleaner by simply giving our PNR number and the cleaner will visit the compartment
4. The involvement of the railway staff in their jobs has increased
5. Online ticket booking is much faster
6. The IRCTC website has become faster
7. IRCTC site does not hang during Tatkal peak time
8. Toll free numbers are a good initiative
9. The waiting listed candidates are now receiving SMS after confirmation of berth
10. Facilities are improving at certain stations. E.g. escalators are being installed at different stations
11. Food quality has shown signs of improvement
12. Railway staff has started responding to the issues of passengers. more
