Potassium Bromate in bread and other products

I had read sometime back that Potassium Bromate which used to be there in bread, buns, pizza bases had been banned by the Govt.

What is the current status. Do breads and the other items still have it? How is FSSAI ensuring that a bakery in gurgaon is not adding it to make their bread tasty. what role can we play? What role are local food inspectors playing. more

FSSAI is not worried nor ensuring Potassium Bromate which used to be there in bread, buns, pizza bases, even if had been banned by the Govt. more
