Election expenditure needs to be controlled and also the mode of campaigning to be changed from present form , there are following suggestions :
1. Parties to release manifesto in time the promises made in the manifesto should be limited in number and backed by concrete data time frame for completing the same.
2. During election campaign no rallies no road shows to be permitted instead parties and their leaders should make speeches announcement on Television and radio and trough mobile phone Or internet
3. It is learnt that expenditure made by any party during election campaign is not added proportionately to the expenses incurred by each candidate in his/ her constituency this is a big aberration. The expenditure whether by party or by any candidate should be accounted in totality and apportioned to each constituency as per population of that constituency so that the actual expenditure incurred by each candidate gets truly reflected more
