Power of Unity on consumer problems faced

I am glad many of us raised this issue of airline and hotel refunds not being made for those who o had booked them during 2nd wave and had no option but to cancel.

Also glad LocalCircles took this cause up and look today its in Economic Times. (Attached)

Hopefully the Govt will pay heed to peoples issues and resolve this. If they dont we will also know. more

The airlines should be user friendly and customers should not be harassed. more
I think as the travel agents and similar organisation are taking advantage of lax rules of our country besides they are aware consumers are at their mercy as though there is consumer court to punish for unethical practice first of all it is not easy to file case in consumer court (one has to travel long distance) and the case once filed will take long time before solution provided. more
Yes It is becoming a trend , many travel agents even famous among them like Go Ibibo are also trying to fool customers, I booked a flight for travelling from Pune to Mangalore dated 24th June (booked from Pune to Bangalore and onwards by Air Asia and Spice Jet ) and on enquiry to Go Ibibo they assured me full refund and even on the Go Ibibo history (travel) it shows refund issued dated 2nd July but on enquiry to my bank, the bank showed no refund credited from Go Ibibo so it looks they are adopting unethical means . I tried to contact Go Ibibo on but none of the contact numbers displayed in its home page https://www.goibibo.com/ are in working condition, so there is no means to speak to customer care of the company. so God save us poor customers who are at mercy of unethical practice by these companies. more
This purely a consumer issue based on the rights and obligations under the provisions of Indian Contract ACT justiciable under the COPRA 2019. more
