PPE kit price standardization
An INR 362 rupee PPE kit is being charged for at INR 8000 - 15000 by hospitals across the country.
I know BIS doesnt do price standardisation but consumer ministry the parent of BIS needs to pitch in here and drive this consumer issue to pharma or health dept on behalf of the consumers.

Do you think both can work together - It will give a chance to Khejriwal to blame the Center and nothing more, he is not interested in working. Crux of this : Center will do the major work and khejriwal will blame the center more

A fter all the experience in Governance about the profiteers , should the Authotrities wait for such Appeals day in day out for each and every item that is used being exploited to hike the charges . THE AUTHORITIES SHOULD NOW AT LEAST COME DOWN HEAVILY ONSUCH PROFITEERS . AS IT IS THE THE CONSUMERS ARE CRESTFALLEN , UNABLE TO EARN THEIR INCOME , BANKS REDUCING THE INTEREST RATES , PRICES OF FOOD FUEL SHOOTING UP . (eg. Rice price / kg has gone up from Rs.58 to 67/).At this juncture some one from the family falls sick that will be the last straw for the family . more

Dear Sir, The ingredient of blood ie loot by few can not be transformed within a short span. For reforms to be implemented, people's voice and participation must. I am sure the present Govt is able to take hard decisions once it comes to their notice. Also we are in the habit of not caring for others. Otherwise how a hosp can charge Rs 8000-15000/ as a cost of PPE from a patient. But we remain silent as it does not pertain to we. Where is the media? Where are our social workers? It becomes a personal problem for the individual as he is facing the situation. Sir, Let us all make an effort to get such inflated bill and take it to the auth concern or the Govt to black list such looters, if it is proved. Regards more
