PPF account extention
Can anybody guide me about the procedure of SBI PPF account extension from remote location (you are not in the city where the PPF account is running).
Visiting the place just because of physical presence is difficult for me. more

One of the alternatives is to submit the form duly signed by you through some local resident. Your personal presence is not required for submission of form. The form is available from local branch where you reside or may be on internet. Regards. more

People have advised to courier the filled form. That's simple but hope SBI accepts this couriered request. more

Mr.Mallik, PPF accounts are transferable from one unit (Bank ) to another branch of same bank or to another Public sector bank or government like Post office.. So you should be able to transfer the amount to the nearest post office of your area. Approach the post office and submit prescribed form and they will forward it the bank where you are now having PPF ac. more
