Practice of Revenue Targets Based Incentive in Pvt Hospitals
In many private speciality hospitals for orthopaedics, cardiology, transplants, etc, Doctors are given salary and incentives based on the revenue generated from a particular department.
Soon, we expect to issue a directive to stop all private hospitals to stop setting any such targets for Doctors. The defaulters may lose licence to operate," per Minister of Health Satyendar Jain.
Any doctor or patient can complain to the state health department directly or through this circle about such malpractice.

ISSUING DIRECTIVES OR INSTRUCTIONS IS A COMMON PRACTICE WITH EVERY GOVT. THE IMPORTANT THING IS, HOW EFFECTIVE IT IS, IN PRACTICE. NOW THE SCHOOLS, HOSPITALS OR MANY OTHER INSTITUTIONS, WHICH ARE FLOURISHING ON SUBSIDISED GOVT. LAND AND OTHER INCENTIVES ( ONE MENTIONED IN THESE COLUMNS OF INCOME TAX EXEMPTION) DO NOT PAY ANY HEED TO THESE INSTRUCTIONS OR WARNINGS. FOR THEM, IT IS ROUTINE BUSINESS FOR EVERY NEW GOVT. more

It was surprising to see that Max Hospital Saket was seeking Income Tax exemption in name of charity . What a dirty joke on public ? We need to reinvestigate the whole issue of how all the charitable hospitals have been taken over by Max , Fortis and BLK more
