Precautions and Care for Dengue Patients
Female Aedes aegypti Mosquitoes are known to bite humans during day.Disease can be fatal once bitten .It takes about 4-10 days for system to show Dengue fever symptoms, incl high fever,severe headache and pain behind eyes.
1.Don’t give Aspirin or/Ibuprofen to the patient.
2.Natural way to keep mosquito at bay is to plant Tulsi near your window.
3.Using Camphor as repellent,also work wonders.Light camphor in a room and close all the doors and windows for about 15-20 minutes to have it mosquitoes free.
4.Use mosquito repellent regularly . Apply it well on all exposed areas during the day as well as at night.
5.Neem oil/leaves are great purifying agent.
6.Drink as much water as one can,in order to replace fluid loss.
7.Avoid eating solid food until fever is gone.
8.The leaves of corriander can be taken in the form of tonic to reduce Dengue fever.
9.Fruits rich in Vitamin C like Amla are advised.
10. 10-15 basil leaves should be chewd twice a day or can be taken in200 ml boiled water and reduce to half the quantity,can be taken 2-3 times a day.
11.Chyavanprash can be taken,as Blood purifier and increase Blood Count.
12.Boil Tulsi that is served in warm drink like tea.
