Present Givt's LPG subsidy process is working well. But there are two areas in the system that need correction. (1) wide use of domestic cylinders for commercial purposes. How are they being given. There is an urgent need for a crack down and confiscation of these cylinders. How the agencies supply them ? (2) It is the understanding that a small sum is billed in e ery supy bill ywards yipd for the delivery boy. But now for every supply they insist on an average RS.30 per cylinder. They talk about number of floors on the building even if lift is available. Customers are afraid if they will delay supplies or supply psttly used cylinders if they are questioned etc and readily give the demanded sum. This must be stopped, if necrssary by boldly printing in the bill that the delivery boy should not be tipped or don't top more than RS.10. Need of the hour. We experience in Chennai. When I visited Kochi, my hometown, same is the case there too. more

Besides, I would suggest that in every multistory building piped gas supply should be made mandatory. Wherever laying of pipe line is not convenient because of the old fashioned lay out of the urbanised villages, the village Punchayats should be educated through advocacy to widen their streets and take advantage of the modern services of underground sewer, drinking water supply lines, and facilities. more

It is alright they just take RS. 30 per cyllinder and let them earn it . The dealer do not pay any salary to them and they have to depend on this petty sum. We pay bribes in thousands to babus for our work more

Call customer care, give the detail of your distributor & delivery boy, the action is taken. I had experienced this, earlier he would not return the change be it is 10 or 20. Now we give them exact amount including change. more

sir, you can call up CC no. where it is being misused....it will be taken care off. Delivery boys was demanding too much. i wrote to Indane to cancel the dealership of the gas provider...it worked. the delivery boy and driver were sacked. they were in tears and came to returned the money. now they supply the gas quietly. you have to take the pain to complain. my higher officer is still paying and he is tamil. you know, my wife also rebuked me when i was straightening them....it was a matter of prestige for her to 'misbehave' with the delivery boys. my mother is still paying Rs 10 after every 70 days.
