Best thing is this should also be brought under G S T . Then we will have some relief. But these Govts (Both Centre and States) will not do as these are main source of income for them. more
What all of you think does not matter what two people at the top think that matters. This platform is already infested with BJP IT coolies. Better go to a better platform to air your problems. Or else they will find a way to "convince" you that rising prices are good for you. more
The excise duty and VAT is major portion of the fuel price and government should behave sensibly and introduce GST system. more
Excise duty by Central govt can be reduced by Rs.15/- and by state govt by Rs.5/- and still govt is getting a ton of money for its wild spending.. By reduction of taxes govt. will still be gaining as the public spending will go up. Automobile sales too will benefit.. more
We need to change many things which are affecting the complete country.Firstly is the election reform.A person should be declared winner only if he crosses 50% of the votes,it's only than that he has won by majority votes. On all India level we should have maximum three to four parties.Any one with any serious offence should be barred from election.Till we elect good people to parliament nothing will improve more
I quite concur with u. This is exactly the same point I've also included in my "Draft of Electoral Reforms" with another 12 points, two yrs. ago. I want my draft to be finalised by a team of well-known legal experts n responsible persons, to devise n place on demand, a "NATION-WIDE UNIFORM ELECTORAL REFORMS". Once so finalised, demand for enactment can be raised through an on-line petition, to the CEC, Delhi, Prime Minister n the President of India. If they fail to respond within reasonable time, a PIL can be filed in SC for necessary direction to the Govt. If SC also fails to act within reasonable time, we Indians should protest peacefully on Gandhian principles, if necessary, on indefinite fasting unto death.
Unless we succeed preventing Indian dirty politics being a business, we can't elect honest, deserving candidates to expect good governance with clean, non-corrupt administration. Nor we can look up for any reforms most needed in every field of life. People have to waste their energy, time n money, individually or in groups, fighting against injustices n evils, everyday, in every nook n corner of this whole nation, only to end up with hardly any justice or no justice met finally. more
