PRICES OF ORTHOPAEDIC IMPLANTS TO BE CAPPED:

We have been discussing and complaining about huge margins on packed food items , cosmetics, Garments ,
footwear and Cardiac stents .
Now the case of orthopaedic Implants have come to the fore after National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority [ N.P.P.A.] had capping the price of Cardiac stents .
This is another fruitful result of constant complaints and suggestions in the circles.

The moot point remains, however, that a patient, who has not obtained second or third opinion, would remain ignorant of what is the right solution. The doctors today speak to patients in such convincing language that the patient thinks as if he's landed with God supreme. It's all psychology, nothing else. The doc sells his product and you are the buyer. It's up to you to compare prices in the market. more
