Printing of expiry date standards
most medicines in India not have the expiry date clearly printed in multiple places on the strip? People buy partial strips. Or they punch out a tablet from where the expiry date and can't read it any more later. Why not the Govt set a clear standard that requires mfg co.s to post "EXPIRY 09/20" repeating across the strip?

Expiry date must not be puch print on the side of the strip at one place. It must be colour print at the top and bottom and sides of the stricp so that those who get a strip with 10 or 15 or 30 Tablets and use a few tabs and keep for future use shall not mist the expiry date. more

Validity of print shall be more than 3.5 years and Expiry to be considered as Max. 3 years. During 3 years each man made thing (eatble) have undergone each season for 1year ..... Is the suggestion. ( Winter, Summer and rainy season; each of 4 months a year x Total consequential 3 years ) more

Nowadays, sticker with Bar code and expiry date is pasted on every strip. more

Question was not of printing but legibility of the print. The photograph given can be examined, and seen that in many cases the desired information was not legible OR the portion containing the information was cut (whether sold to some other customer, or deliberately discarded). more
