private sector is very corrupt
Over the years I have found that private sector is also quite corrupt though we only say govt officials are corrupt.
Large company employees take kickbacks from distributors and dealers when appoonting them and if the products are in high demand, the zonal or area managers fulfil orders of dealers who takes care of them.
Then when dealership comes for renewal again the company rep/zonal rep takes cut or favours.
Desperate business dont mind giving these cut/favours more

Every one is corrupt. Many think that they are not corrupt. The meaning of corruption is very wide. It is not only taking bribe. late coming ,steeling public items , Helping the corrupt, driving wrong side. Giving tips to the salaried persons. using official vehicles for personal use.etc If every one do what they are expected to do , corruption will automatically come down or may disappear. Charity must begin at home. more

Corruption (small or big) is in the all officials blood and the vigilance department is very poor in taking steps against them. more

People working in private sectors are also living in the same society and they & their families do have ambition and desires like those working in public sectors and/or doing politics, which can't be fulfilled from their known sources of income. When there are corruptions in rampant all around and every one is engaged in earning out of the way, it would not be fair to expect them(people working in private sector) to be honest and averse to such earnings. more

Private sector is much corrupt than public sector as they can give & take bribes to make the things happen. Public/Govt. sector only takes bribes for quick and smooth running of business. Bribes are paid to buyers/sellers/inspectors/production/accounts officials. Even Security personnel take bribes in Public/Private Sector units. Due to lax anti corruption laws, the whole system of governance has rotten during the last 50 years. This has made India as one of the most corrupt countries in the world. more

Private sector is profit oriented as compared to public sector which is service oriented. in the genesis, private sector starts as a private enterprise and grows in size of business and organization including but NOT limited to number of employees. Work culture in private sector is essentially owner oriented. Often personnel are drawn by head hunting from similar companies. Documentation origination in private sector is mostly dependent upon outsourced professionals. Most private companies hire ex-govt/public sector executives to run their organization. With proliferation of corruption in govt organization the corruption virus creeps in when such personnel are employed. In any case in Indian society is a way of life and so it has to have imprint in private sector too. more
