Privatisation
I have a interesting fact to share. In early 2000, I ued to visit Railway Kolaghata office due to some work.
Almost all the staff till 12/12.30 pm are busy reading newspaper. By 1/1.30 pm, it's lunch time. After 2/2.30, employees are back to their desk for work.
By 4/4.30 pm, employyes are getting ready to leave the office.
Some employyes can be seen sleeping in the office.
This is how Railway office function and burdens the exchequer.
I don't know if the situation has changed since then !!
Privatization is necessary as employees will be accountable. more

Railway Kolaghata office is in Kolkata (WB). The story is no different in Delhi Railway office at Rail Bhawan. more

There is a fear in the word " Privatization" and this fear makes people work. No private office works like the Govt office do. This is a reality. Govt. employee are always busy discussing about DA, etc, and talk less about their work for which they are paid. more

sir, i think there is no need of privatization. our government and we can do our railway better latter i explain how can we do . But just now tell me will u want to face Economic slowdown in India? more
