Problem of road encroachment in West Delhi

I would like to draw your attention towards road encroachment in our area I.e Chhawla to kangaheri road. People on this road have built ramps which encroached the road and they even park their vehicles outside their house .It creates problem of traffic here. As a law abiding citizen we raised this issue and asked them to move a little back. But they started to fight with us.We went to the counsellor of our area but he said that he can not do anything and if we have any problem then even we can enroach the road and nobody will stop us.We then took the problem to the mcd department, the sdm of our area and almost every person we could approach. But our requests seems to go in deaf ears. Everyone in our area is pressuring us to stay calm and these illegal activities go on.

we have lost our hope as there's no one to take a stand for the right thing and everyone wants us to stay mute.

I request you all to please guide us and help us resolve this issue for the public. It will be a lesson for the people who do not believe in Indian law and courageously do these illegal activities which harm the local public and give hope for people like us who believe in the Indian justice.

Waiting for your suggestions .My email id is shokeenshefali31@gmail.com

Thanks, more

Ramps create an additional problem as they cover and block the flow of water into the storm water drains, which is becoming an endemic problem leading to water logging and flooding of roads in Delhi. (If they are there of course). South Delhi and I am sure all other parts of Delhi are suffering from this illegal construction of ramps covering the entire storm water drain outside of homes. The PIL may be a good idea but is there a way to file a case against the MCD for dereliction of duty. As MCD and Jal Board inspectors have the mandate for maintenance of storm water drains. more
Dear Ms Shefali, Take my pessimistic advice. Get yourself a 'thinner' transport, 'thicker' skin and 'tougher' mind and live in 'peace',or move out of the locality. Don't get yourself involved in these 'hopeless' issues. These will eat up your time. Concentrate on your bigger goals of life. If it bothers you too much see if you can move out of the area. I have tried and finally got this enlightenment!! more
. Shefali Dear ! All the appreciations for your Truthfulness, Commitment and concern. Count me with you. Thanks for saving me from writing what you have written. Count me with you mutia1@gmail.com. I suggest we make a team and request a court to try(PIL), whatever may or may not come out of it. more
