Profiteering by LG

The MRP of LG washing machine 7.0 kg ftontload FH0G7QDNNL52 was INR 43990 before July 27,2018.

Despite GST rates reduced from 28% to 18% the MRP is unchanged by LG (see attached) while the MRP should have been INR 40543.

Isnt this clear case of profiteering? Who will act? Pls guide and request all others to identify all such scenarios. more

It may be bail in or bailout to banks it is public money. Similarly price fixation is also at the mercy of either manufacturer or the taxman but the sufferer is common man. If a common man to prove profiteering he has to do policing at the market to get proof to prove that he is being cheated. Because there is no one to check the cheats in the market. more
Sellers make huge profits particularly, like Vijay Sales, Sargam & alike. Go for big bargain of 25/30 % or walk out from the grip of sucker & fleecing capitalist parasites. more
Look there are ways to fool the citizen by Govt they must have reduced the GST from 28% to18%ya 12% but they must done away with the offsetting the tax paid by company on rawmaterial hence unable to pass on the benefit to the customer as happened in case of sanitary pads, the Govt declared 0 GST on this products by taking the declaring that the GST paid on rawmaterial cannot be off set so the margin reduction per pack is 1.5 to 2.0 , similar with hotels too this need to addressed. The Govt is fooling us with such notification. more
Madam, how much the price paid by you? Was it on MRP? In case you have purchased the product at a price less than MRP, how would you prove that the company has resorted to profiteering. Can you attach a copy of the bill for just academic interest. more
The Government should form a committee that should have powers to address such complaints and fine the companies that are over charging though Government reduced the GST rates. more
