Every Station Master should be made responsible for cleanliness of His Station. Give him resource and authority. Allow him to create a Duty Roaster of all staff to check cleanliness and report to Station Master. more

I happened to travel on 1st May 2015 by Bombay Mail on reserved coach. Many passengers without valid reservation, entered the coach and make huge noise as well as threatening the sleeping passgengers to get up and allow them to sit. Those people are speaking hindi. Morever, they use the toilets and left it open with a lot of foul smell emanating out of it. It has been learnt a TTE is allotted 3 coaches to check the passengers reservation, how can we make complaint to him either. No RPF is present in coach to evict these tress passers. Who will be held responsible for these unauthorised travellers without valid reserved tickets, if any theft happens during night travel. What fool proof system railways follow to prevent these unauthorised travelling. With regard to cleanliness, we have to blame the public (travellers) only as they throw the litters inside the compartments. I have also glad to inform that some railway authorised personalities cleaning the compartment in between some stations and got the signature from passengers for having done mopping etc. Hats off to these services. more
