We have a property on my brothers name since my father was no more and since he was the elder son the property name was registered under his name. May I know do that property belongs to me ? Since Im the second son to my father. If yes, How to share this property equally. more

Sir, How the property is in the name of your brother.Is tge property was purchased by him in his name or after the death of father , the property belongs to your grandfather. CLARIFY. REGDS more

If you signed on such document, please speak with brother to make sum amount as part of your share. If you not signed go ahead with litigation more

Thanks all for your comments. As suggested I will try to give more clarity on this. This property was in AP- (Kurnool ) and purchased by my grand father in year 1982 and Ours was a joint family that time and we all use to stay there only & before it got transferred to my father's name he was no more and it was transfered on my elders brothers name since I was too young that time (may be 7 years old) so now we are all living in different cities and I herd that my brother has kept that property for sale with out my knowledge. So I would like to know that do I have rights to proceed in legal way ? Since I want to make sure before I step in courts step. Let me know how can I proceed and is it a good idea to move legally or sort out this with my brother ? more

If your brother willing to share the property, you can make settlement deed with your brother and can transfer the property. more
