PSU BANK ACCOUNT-PASS BOOK PRINTING MESS

Many PSU Banks are so negligent in such a way that they don't bother about the convenience of the public, public resources, time etc., because of the following reasons:-
for Ex. :
01. Canara Bank has designed pass book to print only 10 transactions (Three lines per transaction) per page i.e., every month we need to go for a new pass book, for an average account holder. This is not so in case of private banks because they have developed one line per transaction and 30 entries per page.
02. Many pass book printers are not working in PSU Banks other than SBI so we have to depend on staff only.
03. It is very difficult to get pass books printed in branches other than Home branches.
04. Because of UPI, GooglePe, Paytm and PhonePe the entries may go into hundreds per day for a small trader, in such a case how to get the printed records ? A better solution is required for this.
Though the above problems are brought to the notice of the Banks NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN which is very irresponsible behavior on the the part of PSU Bank.
Hence, I am hereby requesting the finance ministry look into this matter and provide a better solution at the earliest....... more

In this regard all banks give very low priority to a physical pass book. They all see it as a 'dispensable cost'. Most of the passbook printing machines hardly ever work at bank branches. Even if they do, they will print poor quality or may not even connect to the server to fetch the data. To add insult to injury, the bar codes fixed on the passbook may just not work and they may need to be updated at a counter where there would be a large number of people queued up. All in all, this needs a regulatory push from RBI and the Chairperson of the bank must be fined if the number of problem instances exceed a given number. more
Very often banks are not printing legibly because they do not change the ribbon and hence we customers suffer being unable to read our passbooks and our account statements and also illegible deposit confirmation papers.Repeated requests to remedy the situation are given scant regard. In fact these banks are not having the peoples who are having basic knowledge of Public requirement. They are just spending the money on Artificial Intelligence without understanding customer need. The Previous system was better & cost effective. But when the person become highly educated & got the chair & handsome salary then he become so proudish , that he doesn't care to anybody. more
Banks should address the problem of printing if customer needs for specific purpose. However, if using internet banking visiting bank and getting printed is useless. more
