PSU under Central Govt ridden with corruption
Since my family bids on various projects in psus, i can tell you all first hand that central govt psus like ntpc, ongc, nbcc are ridden with corruption at operating levels.
The current administration has not been able to fix anything. In fact all processes to keep vigilance check are fail.
It is a give up situation. If modi ji really cares he needs to clean these psus. more

Corrupt PSU managers are still squeezing SME suppliers left, right and center. Poor suppliers like me are struggling. What happens is something like this: 1) We bid on a contract and with lot of effort and honesty and really low prices to win a contract 2) Then once work begins we get approvals of authorised PSU consultants 3) We begin work and keep going 4) When half work is complete a manager comes in and says designs were wrong, put it on hold and re-do design 5) We complete design again and will now be past the deadline by 6 months 6) He says - liquidated damages will be levied for delays unless you pay me a big amount. Not ready to budge 7) Project at stand still, sub contractors, project manager idle, costing us salaries, we are stuck but no option Is this acche din? I am looking at winding up the business. more

Not only few PSUs, all most all organisation riddled with high corruption at top level and penetrated to bottom level. Punish top, automatically bottom level corruption will stop. more

Are we expecting a drastic change in a short span and that too just because there is someone we have hope from. But let us not expect too much in 4 years. By the way, had congress come to power, how many of us would have expected same things as we expect it from the existing Government. Ours is such a dirty system that it is going to take time. Only thing we need to have patient and perseverance. more

Govt changes but public and contractors' dealing government employees remain the same, as they have already tested the blood (corrupt money) how can they for go this. Let Modi break his head, bye passing rules and easy approvals thro' bribing remains lucrative for public and employees has become part of life. more

I also feel that corruption has not really come down. No Babu is held accountable for non performance. I think the BJP focus has shifted more towards non issues like cows, communities etc. more
