Public littering and relieving
It is so embarrasing to even put it on paper ,that every nook and corner of roads we see people peeing ,at every junction or traffic jam, we see people spitting.
If a public toilet is dirty, and that is the reason for people to use roads, pavements, gardens etc, why
not they do their chores before starting from their homes.
While every person needs a clean place to release themselves, they do not realize that they are spoiling the cleaner places with their deeds. Why dont people realize that they are also a part of making public toilets dirty? Why not inculcate a discipline of using public utilities with due care, so that every one can utilize and enjoy the benefits of having them all over?
It is a shame to see people attending to their nature calls on the freshly made gardens/ landscapes made during the CWG , freshly made pavements - where people are expected to walk and not to relieve themselves.
The corners of the roads , especially where the electric boxes are kept, stinks more of a public toilet.
Very recently, we spotted a elderly gentleman relieving himself on the freshly laid platform - imagine how can ladies walk on platforms with this kind of 'activities' happening? My husband yelled at him " is this the place for you?" Imagine the answer "What for you?"
If everyone starts saying "what for you?" then I dont know how we can look out for a cleaner place to live. That too, from an elderly gentlemen :( - till now we were under the impression that elderly people can guide the arrogant youth, but to our dismay all the generations are equally messed up.
Once, we returned to pick our car from the parking ( on the road ), we saw a girl ( not even 2ft in height ), peeing behind a car parked on the road. It was so alarming. What if the car starts - no one can see the girl from their drivers seat. Whom to be blamed ?
Once, we were at a junction, and we saw triple ride on a bike, spitting continuously on the road, though I did not say anything, I gave a glare at them, and guess what when the signal turned green, they overtake us, and abuse and drove away, constantly turning behind and hurling abuses. A kind of a road rage.
I do not know how people can be educated on these issues and the solution to bring discipline in everyone.
Sometimes, I feel, middle eastern (saudi etc) rules should be put into practice to get people back to senses. more
