IT IS REGRETABLE TO INFORM THAT NEITHER THESE BANKS NAMELY ANDHARA BANK, PUNJAB& SINB BANK UNITED BANK NOR IBA / MINISTRY OF FINANCE/ LAW MINISTY HAVE TAKEN ANY STEP SO FAR TO STOP THE INJUSTICE BEING DONE IN ALL SIMILARLY PLACED CASES . THIS HAS RESULTED IN FILING OF MULTIPLE CASES AT VARIOUS HIGH COURTS BY OTHER SIMILARLY PLACED OFFICER. TO QUOUE A FEW . 1.AGAINST P&SB AT CHANDIGARH. 2. AGAINST PNB AT DELHI & ALLAHABAD HC. 3. ALLAHABAD BANK AT PATNA HC.4. UNION BANK AT CHENNAI. 5 ANDHARA BANK AT HYDERABAD.

How PNB is feeling the pinch from wilful defaulters at both ends Analysis of PNB’s lists for Dec 2014 and Feb 2016, during which number of wilful defaulters rose 2.6 times, shows how truant borrowers are biting the bank At Rs.11,432 crore, Punjab National Bank (PNB) had the second largest portfolio of wilful defaulters: borrowers who have defaulted on meeting their loan commitments despite having the ability to make payments or who are in violation of some part of the loan agreement. PNB is also perhaps the only bank that has been making public, at three-month intervals, a list of these borrowers. An analysis of PNB’s lists for December 2014 and February 2016, during which its number of wilful defaulters multiplied 2.6 times, shows how truant borrowers are biting the bank at both ends. At the top, the bulge is due to loan size... The number of wilful defaulters grew at a faster clip than their amount at default. As a result, the average amount per wilful defaulter fell. However, what this masks is the rising distress among big borrowers. The top 10% and 25% of PNB’s wilful defaulters now account for 75% and 90% of the amount at risk, respectively—an increase over the corresponding 2014 figures. more

The debt restructuring schemes by RBI to industries is actually a debt relief on tap to garner money to the vested interests and political netas. Debt Relief to Farmers at the time of elections is to garner their votes to be in power. Net net it is loss to the economy and common man with a mirage that Govt is giving you relief. more

" Bad Debts Written off " is total goof-up in hands i gloves with the Bank Officials. It is pathetic to learn further more the inaction of the Govt. when the total scheme runs more than 3,00,000 lacs Crores of rupees, benefited to handful business person's at the cost of society. Really deserve to some ACTION in the Court of Law more
