PUBLIC TRANSPORT IN GHAZIABAD
They call it Hot City but what is hot here nothing except all around corruption and lawlessness. No civic authority has ever bothered to think about the problems residents are facing. Till 7-8 years back there was DTC BUS SERVICE but due to massive corruption in Ghaziabad they started harassing DTC and finally Mayawati Government forced DTC to stop operating its best known route ALT Ghaziabad to Shivaji Stadium. This was done to force residents to solely depend on unruly and criminal Autos, it was a well planned conspiracy hatched by local officials conniving with the Auto gangs. Where a person can go to Shivaji Stadium/CP by paying Rs.20 to DTC with safety now has to pay at least Rs.10 from Alt to Autostand at old Bus stand and then at least another Rs.40 to go to Anand Vihar by Auto, or Rs.30 to go to Vaishali and then Metro another Rs.18 or so. I feel all residents of Ghaziabad must organise and protest and force this deaf and dumb local and state administration to take care of the local needs and make this town Liveable and safe and free this town from the clutches of corrupt Transport, Police and Auto gangs. I feel all of the members must pinpoint the local problems and someone should compile all of them and organise a protest to pursue the demands or at least we can submit the charter of demands to Local MP and hope we will get due response from Hon.
