Public Works Departments - Inputs on Issues

Dear Friends:

Several of you have written to us about reviewing the state of public works departments in India.

Public Works Departments are responsible for constructing roads and other public infrastructure.

With this post, we would like you to list the key issues in the current workings of Public Works Departments.

Once the Issues are known, we will review Root Causes and Solutions using a separate post.

The objective would be to put together a comprehensive whitepaper and share it with Central Government leaders and State leaders so actions can be taken to make the workings of Public Works Departments more effective.

I look forward to your inputs!
