Change the government regulations and you will see the change that will be good for all. more
Come winter the topic comes again. Then it is forgotten. How will the farmers be impressed about the ban ? Unless they live in the widward side and face the music. more
While what they are doing is absolutely wrong, when the issue involves a large section of population, it has to be dealt with delicately. more
Stubble burning is taking place only in Punjab and Haryana putting the lives of all people living in northern part of the country in danger. Kharif crops, particularly, paddy, is the main kharif crop of majority of the other states but no where stubble burning takes place. Instead, they use of stubble in converting them into manure, then why the Punjab and Haryana farmers can't follow the suit? This happens because of lack of political wills. The concerned state governments must be made responsible for this and be pressurized to stop stubble burning by enacting suitable laws. more
Correct. Stubble is not used Properly more
Farmers are blackmailing the nation by not following the ban.,not willing to address the alternate route as it needs money and the easiest is to trouble and in this sadistic journey they along with others will suffer from effects of pollution. They want the govt to.bear the cost of stubble handling by various methods suggested by scientists. Respiratory illness, superimposed covid-19 and deaths are expected.people will be forced to.migrate to less polluted states. In south where machines arenot used for threshing they are cutting with sickles and the short stub was ploughed to strengthen the field . Modern agricultural methods may yield but result also is difficult to bear unless you are consicious of the environmental.degradation you are causing and you are also a victim! more
