Punjabi Bagh at 999

Delhi’s Punjabi Bagh just registered an alarming AQI 999 (PM10 at 10 AM) and many other areas around the city also remained in ‘Hazardous’ category.

Fine of 25 crores has been imposed on delhi Government but whats the use, they will give from Govt kitty or never give at all while we and our children suffer.

Such pathetic approach of our administrators, mcd pollution dept, transport dept, dda. more

Mainstream Parties are all busy fighting elections...even lowest ranked politician has enough money to safeguard himself and family with Air Purifiers and Airconditioned Office from which they hardly step out in polluted atmosphere. Actually it serves the people right for their pigheadedness in putting customs, traditions & religion before health and hygiene. Celebrating festival of lights with crackers despite SC order... Polluting water during Ganesh/Durga Puja festivals as also Chath and then blaming Delhi Government has become a habit not just of BJP but also common public. First we need to see what is our contribution before pointing fingers at others. more
This very serious problem unfortunately is not on the priority list of our politicians whether it is central environment minister Delhi CM, and our beloved PM, Midi. I want to ask these leaders as to this dangerous level of pollution not only in Delhi but many other cities in India does not at all bother them. Is winning elections in various states then only thing which matters to them? Does the serious damage being caused to our children's & senior citizen's health not bother them at all? Because it does not affect the votes they get from us,? It is shameful for our these politicians just not at all to bother about the serious health damage being caused to everyone's health. I fervently appeal to our PM, Midi to please try to wake up our sleeping leaders and take effective and very drastic measures to get us rid of this scourage on very top priority. more
Sorry again. It should be Midi. more
I am sorry for mis-spelling our Pam's name.It should be Midi. more
Government must come out with Exit Policy / De-congestion Policy. People must be encouraged to quit / exit Delhi. NCR is too over-crowded. more
Instead of Fine defaulters needs to be Jailed,in reality these defaulters are playing with Human Lives. more
Delhi gov't is more worried in distributing free bees to their probable voters one crore to anybody to just buy votes for next elections from public fund than to spend on people's health more
