Queries on profiteering in real estate

Are those developers who do not pass on the benefit in the form of lower prices or lesser installment amounts booked under anti-profiteering?

What about a developer/construction company that asks homebuyers to pay a higher tax rate in installments on payments received after July 1 or those who had asked buyers to pay the full amount before GST rolled out? more

The real estate developers are exploiting the land owner and flat purchasers. There must be control over them. more
Leave aside passing of Benefits, practically and factually the Builders and Developers are squeezing the Buyers and the Authorities are either spectators &/Or Participant to share he BOOTY - due to /with inaction. more
I agree with. In building industry the input credit some times surpasses the the overall GST of 12%. GST includes erstwhile excise as well VAT. Therefore input tax credit on materials purchased by builders is very high. more
When the government of a nation itself is dishonest to double its earnings making the citizens fool (petrol prices), how can we expect honesty from a builder/developer, who basically run their activities with ill intentions of inferior quality and more & more profits! more
Not only that the biggest profiteer is the government of India, Imagine the cost of a flat to be Rs 100000/- every time this flat is sold registration fees need to be paid to the government of India. So from the date we got our independence till now the government has recd land and flat value which is more than the land and flat value of the entire nation. more
If the full payment was made early to GST, you need not to pay anything more. For any latter payment GST will be applicable. Builder will not give ITC benefit, but will pocket it. You need to fight through RERA and/or by giving written notice and follow-up. Good luck more
