Rafale Deal

People of congress are asking 4 questions to Prime Minister about Rafale Deal. I just want to know answer to the last one. #whyAnilAmbani India can do better than that?

Why was the No. of aircrafts reduced?

Why was the Price of aircrafts tripled?

Why Transfer of technology was scrapped?

Why the contract was awarded to Ambani's Company with Zero experience over experienced HAL? more

this is not the first time we have witnessed these type of deals--be it congress or bjp govt.this is the way our govts.work. it blesses whomever it wants n scraps those whom it dislikes. ACCHE DIN AYENGE---wait n see more
Hello Ruchi, The above question and putting a dent on the credibility of MOD, Govt of India shows your immaturity and sudden rush of blood under the impact of Opposition political parties. Let me take the privilege of nullifying your remarks...as i am from HAL, Bangalore and well versed with ground realities. 1. As Mentioned by Mr. Ghanshyam Sarode the past experience shows that HAL may find it difficult in maintaining the tight production delivery schedules. This is because of complacency in any Govt employees and adamant nature in their work styles. 2. Classic example of the slipped deliveries of LCA & Jaguar. 3. Inclusion of private sector will remove the monopoly status of HAL in the defence aerospace sector and bring in a healthy competitive spirit at all the working executive levels. 4. Skill set and experience cadre is quite high in HAL and hence the thrust is more in building technology platform and new fifth generation aircraft, instead of merely making outside companies aircraft under licence production. 5. Transfer of technology was not scrapped but diverted to private Indian Company, which in turn will develop a strong eco-system in our aerospace industry. 6. Why was the Price of aircrafts tripled..? OOPs , this again is not the question in right context. The new Price is inflated because this includes the complete lifecycle cost of the aircraft ie. Maintenance, repair and overhaul of their fleet. Hope the above summarizes and justifies to your concern made by congress too..!! more
Good. I appreciate your knowledge and reply more
HI Ruchika, Your question is why the private parties give the chance and why not to HAL . During last 25 years HAL cannot complete a foolproof plane for defense Is it worth giving the another chance and wait for 40 years and get ourself killed? HAL peoples may be competent but there may be corrupt people too.So whom to blem? Why congress is asking these questions? They do not have any rights to ask such questions .What they did many years and could not get the work done from HAL? Is it a deficiency of Govt or HAL staff? I could say it is the deficiency of Govt and they may not be interested to get complete this project intime. So your question answers are not for them. more
Dear Ms.Ruchika L Maheshwari, I trust you have raised this issue under the local circles "Together against corruption" else it would be a case of going beyond the aims of the interface. Before you can ask any questions to the prime minister, you should be able to prove that you have authentic information and Prime Minister is the concerned person. You can't found your say on rumour mongering and kite flying. That is the job of politicians whose survival is based on the presumption that people are foolish and gullible. This presumption is next only to the presumptions that public memory is short and that all politicians live in glass houses and they are capable of re-building them in spite of throwing stones at each other. If the stone hits (public believes in the gossip) then it is well and good else there is hardly any repercussion. This is not the game of intellectual and informed forums. The least you can do is obtain some relevant information by any means preferably through RTI and then bring it before enlightened public. If the information establishes a Primafacie case or doubt, it can then be placed before C&AG or CVC or legal authorities. Trust saner counsels will prevail else this kind of raising issues serve no public purpose. more
Dear Ms.Padmini Verma, Ms. Ruchika's note goes much beyond the presumptive (?) statement you made. The reason why I presume it as presumption is that has not come through any reliable channels in to public domain but through a political statement made by a politician at a vote garnering public meeting. If it is otherwise, I will stand corrected upon enlightenment. Some ways in which reliable information comes in to public domain are 1. Information bulletin put out by public or private authorities or their Authorised representatives. 2. Reports of audit authorities, both public and private. 3. Vigilance and investigation agencies & their briefings. 4. Intervention of judicial authorities on their own motion or on the motion of well intentioned citizen like you 5. Reports & published articles (not anonymous) of Investigative journalists and experts in National papers (regional papers reliability is doubtful due to limited reach and resources). The published news is not always reliable due to 1. Paid news and 2. Political Leanings of people who matter in particular news paper. more
This is public information that contract been given to Anil Ambani? more
I have spent my life serving the Central Government. It was a very important policy that for all important product imports, the concerned Department of the Government must get technology transfer to an experienced PSU/ manufacturer so that the foreign source is not able to arm twist the Govt. in the long run. Hence ignoring technology transfer and an experienced PSU with excellent credentials (HAL) is quite fishy. more
