Raid UP Stamp and Registration Offices
140 stamp and registration offices are being raided by telangana police today on order of CM telangana to restrict corrupt practices as well as prevent illegal registration of government lands.

It must be raided ... the current scenario for flats in UP is, builder ask for the registration amount for the stamp paper charges, admin fee etc.... and the total amount goes well above the stamp paper charges ... builders ask the whole amount in 2.ways one through rtgs and the other one is In Cash.... Builders openly says tjat tje receipt will only be provided for the amount given through Rtgs and no receipt for Cash amount ..when asked why they will NOT provide, say it would be for registry office and one can easily understand that it is a bribe given to them.... Just give a thought of one flat is providing bribe of 20k how many flats are there in UP. SO CONCLUSION IS ALL AUTHORITIES/OFFICERS MUST BE RAIDED AND BOOKED FOR CORRUPTION. more

I don't think this is going to happen in UP! Major source of revenue for officers, lawyers, touts, vendors and supply partners. If this is done, very fortunate for UP and a Carry Forward of PMs anti-corruption drive. more
